NetStream Technology is seeking candidates for a Network Engineer role. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience working in a technical role and ready to take the next step in their career. The Network Engineer will be teamed up with and take daily direction from a Senior Cisco Engineer. Candidates who have a strong desire to learn new technologies and achieve technical certifications are encouraged to apply.
The required qualifications for this role include:
- Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching
- Network cabling experience using CAT 5/6
- Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), TCP/IP protocols, and understanding of the OSI model
- Experience with LAN/WAN technologies, Internet, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, NAT, IP telephony, wireless technology and firewalls is desired
Candidates with Network+, CCNA or other Cisco certifications are encouraged to apply.
